Lost

The night air
burns my lungs
as i run.
runnning from my past
running from my present
searching for my future.
i'm lost among these memories.
I'm lost in these fears.
Something in my dreams
tells me to just let go
of the fear,
of the memories,
and of the pain they bring.
I'm afraid to forget.
i dont want to forget.
My feet are getting tired
my body begins to ache.
just break down.
let it all out
i cant break now.
i've come to far.
i dont know
where i'm going
i dont know
where i'll end up.
I'll i know
is that i'm lost.
i'm just lost
without you here. #1

If I was to die
would you cry
would you try
would you remmber
our memories
would you tell my story
for I cant anymore
would you stop and think
and smile for I was once with you
would heavy tears pour off your face
when some one metioned my name
would you count the days
When you get to see me in heaven
or would I be a burden to remmber

Behind The Smile

Listen to her voice, It's her disguise.
Because pain is all you will see,
If you look deep within her eyes.
All the years on the outside she was smiling,
Just so no one could see,
On the inside she was dying.

After all the pain she's been put through,
Her heart has become stone.
All she wants is for once
To not be alone.
Her thoughts, her memories,
They're haunting her.
All she wishes for is that everyone could see,
This is not how she wanted it to be...

Alone in the dark she cries.
Her past is hard to forget.
But as days go by,
The harder she tries.

Everyone passes her by without a second glance,
They will never know how much pain she is in.

Behind her smile,
Is everything you'll never understand. #3
